On Sunday, April 30th, at John Dean Provincial Park in Saanich. If we meet at 1:30 it will be after the lunch time rush and hopefully parking won’t be so bad. There is a nice hike to a viewpoint up Mount Newton. It should be a good hikefor all ages and I think it should be “rain or shine”. But let’s hope for shine.

We’ll meet at the sign in the parking lot – it’s a standard BC Parks sign telling users about the park. There’s not a lot of parking right there, but there is parking on the side of the road leading up to the parking lot.
